The ASA carries out, and sets requirements for assurance activities for Light Rail within NSW. These activities include defining the principles, defining high level design parameters and developing standards that are determined by Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) as applicable to light rail systems delivered by and operated on behalf of TfNSW.
Application of these principles, standards and high level design parameters in the development of light rail systems will provide whole of life economic benefits for all current and future TfNSW light rail networks.
Current light rail specific requirements are listed below.
As the light rail network matures and ASA activities on behalf of TfNSW require, the ASA may update this page as necessary and appropriate.
